FOUNDER

Francesco di Castri

BRIEF PROFILE

Francesco di Castri founded ORIVIUM after 30+ years in turnaround, industrial restructuring and M&A.

He has held roles of CEO, Chairman, CRO and senior adviser in mid-market companies and international groups across luxury (manufacturing and yachting), automotive, chemicals and financial services, with cross-border M&A as a recurring context.

His work has spanned crisis-driven situations, complex carve-outs, post-merger integrations, governance restructurings and pre-distress interventions, across private equity, bank workout, family ownership and institutional governance contexts.

His engagements have typically taken place where ownership, lenders, management and operating reality no longer point in the same direction.

APPROACH

ORIVIUM is built around a single conviction: the visible problem is rarely the decisive one, and the difference between a successful intervention and a failed one is the willingness to look beyond the symptoms.

For 30 years this work has depended on individual judgement — his own, and that of the seniors he has worked with. ORIVIUM is the attempt to keep senior judgement at the centre while building structure around it. Method, instruments, transferable language, and Jaryn — the operational expression of that methodology.

The point of ORIVIUM is not to scale the founder. It is to make the work disciplined enough not to stay trapped in individual memory.

HOW ENGAGEMENTS TAKE SHAPE

ORIVIUM does not work from a fixed list of conditions. The shape of the work is built on the case — the situation is not asked to fit a category.

Some engagements are a single diagnosis. Some are months inside the operating cadence. Some are one decision unblocked, then closure.
